This amazing event for youth philanthropists ages 12-21 and the adults who support them from across the Northeast, was held at Brandeis University, just west of Boston in Waltham, MA. Youth philanthropists were able to share their practices in giving and grantmaking, learn together with sessions built for youth and adults, and have fun! 200 attendess from 20 different organizations attended this event.

Allegra is a 4th year Human Services and International Affairs student at Northeastern University with a minor in Global Social Entrepreneurship. She took a Strategic Philanthropy and Nonprofit Management course in the fall of 2015 and is passionate about capacitating nonprofits to best catalyze social change. During her time at Northeastern, she has participated in two co-ops at international community development nonprofits in Ecuador and South Africa. She has also had the opportunity to study abroad in Amman, Jordan. Allegra is current a Program Assistant at the Social Impact Lab, working on their Global Philanthropy Initiative.
