This amazing event for youth philanthropists ages 12-21 and the adults who support them from across the Northeast, was held at Brandeis University, just west of Boston in Waltham, MA. Youth philanthropists were able to share their practices in giving and grantmaking, learn together with sessions built for youth and adults, and have fun! 200 attendess from 20 different organizations attended this event.

Javier Orozco

Boston Mobilization
Javier Orozco works as a college intern with Boston Mobilization. He is a second year Sociology and Studio Art double major at Boston College. In his hometown of Los Angeles he has been involved with organizations including InnerCity Struggle, the YMCA, and the Brothers, Sons, Selves Coalition advocating in the areas of education, urban development, health, and restorative justice as they concern underserved, inner city communities. His experience with social justice work has affirmed his belief that young people have a unique perspective in community organizing and a powerful voice in realizing social change.
