This amazing event for youth philanthropists ages 12-21 and the adults who support them from across the Northeast, was held at Brandeis University, just west of Boston in Waltham, MA. Youth philanthropists were able to share their practices in giving and grantmaking, learn together with sessions built for youth and adults, and have fun! 200 attendess from 20 different organizations attended this event.

Liz Raskopf

GMA Foundations
Liz joined GMA Foundations in October 2014. She serves as the foundation assistant to the Jessie B. Cox Charitable Trust, the Herman and Frieda L. Miller Foundation, the A.C. Ratshesky Foundation, Sailors’ Snug Harbor of Boston, the Wellington Management Foundation, and an anonymous family foundation. She also provides administrative support to the Boston Education Funders, a local affinity group.
Prior to joining GMA, Liz worked at Girls’ Leadership Worldwide, a program of the Eleanor Roosevelt Center at Val-kill. She also interned with the Global Fund for Women, based in San Francisco, CA, and with the Rural & Migrant Ministry in Poughkeepsie, NY.

Liz is a 2014 graduate of Vassar College where she earned a B.A. in International Studies. In her spare time she enjoys soccer, reading, and traveling, and volunteering with her local chapter of JDRF (formerly the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation).
