This amazing event for youth philanthropists ages 12-21 and the adults who support them from across the Northeast, was held at Brandeis University, just west of Boston in Waltham, MA. Youth philanthropists were able to share their practices in giving and grantmaking, learn together with sessions built for youth and adults, and have fun! 200 attendess from 20 different organizations attended this event.

Rachel Ogorek currently works as a Program Coordinator at the National Center for Family and Philanthropy. Prior to that she was in school completing her MA in Philanthropic Studies at the Lilly Family School of Philanthropy and her MPA in Nonprofit Management at the School of Public and Environmental Affairs in Indiana. She also worked as a graduate assistant in the Center for Service Learning and helped engage the university and its resources in the community. Prior to graduate school Rachel worked in Denver, Colorado for two years at the YMCA of Metropolitan Denver as a Civic Engagement Coordinator for Bruce Randolph School through AmeriCorps.
